Your Hypnotherapy Session
Preparing for your Session
I’m excited for our session together. Please use the following guidance to make the most out of session together.

The Day Before

Prepare a list of 10 questions for your session
Keep questions brief and to the point. We will discuss them prior to the session if they need further explanation. Due to time restrictions, please limit questions to a maximum of 10 questions listed in priority order. The questions should be about YOU mainly- not other people in your life.
Suggested categories for your questions:
-
Life Problems
-
Spiritual Questions
-
Emotional Blocks
-
Behavioral Issues
-
Career or relationship Blocks
-
Health-related Issues

Please send me these questions at least 24 hours in advance of our session.
Caffeine and diet
Limit your use of caffeine for 2-3 days before your session. On the day of your session, if you normally have 2 cups of coffee in the morning, cut it down to one cup; just enough to keep you from getting a caffeine withdrawal headache. The intention is to go into a wonderful state of deep relaxation. A clean live diet (fruits and vegetables) is always recommended.
No recreational drugs or alcohol
Don’t drink alcohol the night before and/or the day of your session. A session will not be conducted if the client is under the influence of drugs, alcohol or any other substances that alter their state of awareness. Do not take any unprescribed pills to relax you. This may jeopardize the success of the session. Take your prescription medications that you normally take.
Get a good night's sleep
Make sure to schedule some good sleep the night before. Do something that calms you like taking a nice relaxing walk, take a warm bath, meditate, or listen to soothing music. You will be lying down for over an hour; if you are not well rested you might fall asleep! Please come well rested.
Get your technology set up
o In-person sessions are available for Cairo residents, Please contact Nine Psychology for booking.
o All sessions that are booked through this website are online sessions via Zoom.
1. Choose a comfortable quiet spot where you will not be interrupted for all the duration of the session.
2. Download the Zoom application to your computer. Zoom can be downloaded for free. I will send you the meeting link right before your session.
3. Make sure you locate your computer/phone where I can see your face all the time while you are lying down. Please get your setup ready prior to the session.
4. Test your headset and microphone for a clear sound. Your voice will lower as you go into trance, so having a clear headset is essential.
5. Make sure that your computer is plugged in, so it doesn’t run out of battery.

The Day of your session

Set your intention to have a great session
Your intention to having a great session is a key. Once you've made the decision to have an Introspective hypnosis session, thoughts and energy will automatically begin to flow to you to prepare you for this session.
No expectations and no judgment
Each person's experience is totally unique, and you will experience exactly what you need. Release any expectation of what you should feel like when you're in a hypnotic trance or what your session will be like. Just enjoy the experience.
Practice relaxation prior to the session
Just close your eyes and bring your awareness to your breath and then to any part of your body where there is tension. Breathe into that space until you feel the tension lessen or dissolve. Remain in that space for as long as you can, locating any tension until your entire body is easily and effortlessly relaxed. This practice can be useful on the day of your session, helping you to access a lovely state of relaxation.
What to eat/drink
Eat something light before your session. Don’t forget to drink water. Your session will not be affected if you need to use the bathroom during your session.
What to wear
Since you will be lying down for some time, you should wear comfortable, light, loose-fitting clothes that won't constrict your circulation or over-heat you while you're lying under a light blanket. If you typically wear socks to sleep, go ahead and wear them so that your feet will feel good. Your physical comfort is essential.

Turn off and avoid all distractions
Make sure to put your cellphone, landline, or any beeping device on silent mode. If you have children or pets, make sure they will not interrupt the session.
Your Session
Agenda

Your session is comprised of three parts:

1. Pre-talk. During this time we get to know each other and review your questions.
2. The hypnosis session. This time is all about you; it is a place where you feel safe and for healing to take place.
3. Post talk. We discuss the information you got from the session and integration steps over the following days and weeks. It is at this step we may discuss a growth plan of further coaching and hypnosis to accelerate your path.
Recording
Currently sessions' recording is not available. check for update.

Following your session
Your mood
Client reactions can vary. You will be fully alert but deeply relaxed and may find yourself in a semi to very blissful state. Sometimes, some clients feel like their body is buzzing with energy. You might need to ground yourself after the session by eating a fresh snack or walking in bare feet on the grass. Schedule the rest of your day so that after the session you won't have activities that will require a lot of concentration or physical hard work.

Suggested Activities
Write down and reflect on what you took out of the session to anchor it into your conscious mind. Self-observation is a key in the integration process; monitor your physical, emotional, and mental state.
Sometimes it can take some time to process everything that has happened during a session, especially when many meaningful things can happen in such a short period of time. Pay attention because important information may be coming through to you when you least expect it and you don't want to miss it.
Your connection to your subconscious will remain open so pay attention to your thoughts, dreams and intuition. You will begin to discern the difference between the Ego and the real self which will help you to find greater spiritual and mental stability.
