Coming Home to the Body

Coming Home to the BodyRecovery from an eating disorder is not a straight line. It’s a journey of coming back home to yourself. Step by step, you learn to soften old patterns, understand what your emotions need, and reconnect with your body in ways that feel safe and grounded.

Compassion is the key

We work with evidence-based and deeply supportive approaches, we work with a plan determined ahead, yet flexible. The plan includes theraputical schools such as:

  • IFS (Internal Family Systems) to gently explore parts of you that protect, criticize, restrict, binge, or numb — and help them feel understood rather than fought.

  • CBT-E (Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to address thoughts, behaviors, and the underlying emotional triggers.

  • ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) to help you build a more peaceful relationship with your inner world.

  • DBT techniques for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and managing urges.

  • Hypnotherapy to work directly with the subconscious mind, releasing old wounds and creating new, healthier pathways.

  • Body Movement, breathwork, chanting, and even intuitive dancing to let the body speaks what words cannot say.

This is a holistic, deep human healing experience.

Why Work With Me on Your Eating Disorder Healing Journey?

If you’re visiting in this space and asking yourself, am I ready for another journey?  Let me tell you, I totally understand how exhausted you might feel, and you deserve a gentle, honest answer. So let me tell you about my own journey.

I grew up in an extended family with so many women, my aunties and cousins came in every shape and color, tall, short, curvy, apple, triangle,..etc. and it was never a topic of discussion. My grandma used to say, every woman has people out there will fall madly in love with her and how she looks.  Growing up in such assuring environment was a blessing

Now everything has changed, beauty has very specific standards, and humans are acceptable only if they match certain social media image, where perfection is magnified, every flaw feels like a failure, and where our bodies are treated like projects instead of homes. I understand how heavy that pressure feels, especially if you are in it alone, without a reference of other standards.

My goal is to spread that warmth, love, and acceptance to our bodies, like my grandma showed us.

Following Grandma's path of love

To do that and aside from my master’s degree in psychology specialized in trauma focused treatment, I spent an entire year in clinical training dedicated only to Eating Disorders.  My education is backed up by solid clinical experience as I give over 1200 sessions every year focusing on trauma treatment.
